東京的越南

小美剛從日本小休回來。（對，又是日本…）照片還有待整理和上載，但這次外遊的一個高潮竟在於因誤打誤撞而看了的一齣越戰紀錄片：「花はどこへいった」(英文片名：Agent orange--a personal requiem)。

事實上這齣電影並不算是很成熟的作品，可是，它所引起的思索，可說真是「剪不斷、理還亂，（雖然不是離愁，卻）別是一番滋味在心頭。」導演的丈夫是美國人，曾經參與越戰，目諸美軍大量使用含有劇毒的除林劑agent orange以暴露敵軍行蹤（或謂「枯葉之戰」），後來他重返越南，見證agent orange對當地人所帶來的嚴重後果。（他自己也身受其害，死於肝癌。）這套戲的導演似乎是想以這套反戰意味很濃的紀錄片，來紀念其無政府主義的丈夫。
映像有時候可以是很震撼的，如片中所見一個又一個因劇毒而天生嚴重畸形的嬰兒，以及成長以後的他們的生活實況。（google search here）
小美坐在劇場裏的一小時二十分鐘，經歷了情感的高低跌蕩……震驚、憤慨、無力、同情、驚訝、欽佩、難過、悲傷、孤獨……還有種種未能一一言喻的感受，只知道自己的生命經歷了一次重要而深刻的學習。結論是：又再一次赤裸裸地暴露了自己的無知。
從日文的片名直譯過來，其實就是where have all the flowers gone，一首膾炙人口的反戰民歌。
